Identity TheftResolving Identity Theft

Resolving identity theft is never easy, but it is possible to get results even when little help is available. If you are a victim of identity theft, report the crime immediately and continue fighting by keeping files, notes, records, and other documentation linking to the crime, keeping them organized. You will also need to learn skills, such as ongoing assertiveness, since you are going to need it throughout the rest of your life. You will also need skills, such as knowledge about what your rights are and use those rights to the max when you are applying for credit, jobs, et cetera.

Let me tell you a story to help you see how assertiveness can get you out of nearly any situation. One woman fought throughout her years of school right up to the day she was dismissed
from high school and sent to adult education at the age of fifteen. Instead of taking the dismissal as an insult, knowing that she was battling bullies before she was kicked out of school and the school personnel did nothing, but encourage the bullies, she stood her grounds. The woman continued in her life and attended Adult Ed, and left immediately when she smelt the reek of alcohol on the instructor's breath. The woman later went back to school regardless of her bad situation and no support what so ever, she continued achieving her dreams. Each day the girl fought, and gathering of children circled her, threatening to harm her. Instead of fighting with violence, the girl used assertiveness and talked her way out of a group of 30 or more persons that was heading to violence. The girl did this all through her life and now she is reaching her goals and has information stored in her head that could help anyone out of any situation.

We see in this story that persistence, assertiveness, knowledge and a degree of patience kept this girl from being seriously hurt. I share this story with you, simply because reading stories often help us to see what we are missing. Stories also help us to see that we are not alone in this nasty battle to win throughout our lives. Regardless, of the nasty situations that developed throughout the girl's fight, she never gave into hopelessness.

Resolving identity theft is a battle going uphill, thus you will need persistence, assertiveness, knowledge, patience, organization skills, and more to win the nasty race. The criminal with your identity is living better than you are at this point, thus keep this criminal in mind when you are resolving your identity theft case, and never allow your emotions to override your mind.

To resolve identity theft you will need your wits. Therefore, we can learn a few details about emotions to help you resolve identity theft. Emotions are good and bad. Thus, when the emotions are threatened they either act out hastily or else the mind is in control and the person acts out in a way that it makes every one stand up and listens. The girl in this story is me, and I am here now telling you to never allow a criminal take completely over your life, even if he does have your identity.

When you allow a criminal to take full control of your life you may as well jump off the nearest bridge. Thus, the moral of this story is to continue fighting, since the more effort you put into winning back your name, the more the criminal will back off. If you feel that life is over, thus you are allowing the criminal the opportunity to win.

Restoring you, identity may include using all your learnt tools when applying for jobs, credit, or money for school. If you are turned down, tell the creditors that you refuse that answer and wish to speak to someone that is willing to review your identity theft case, including the documents that you have stored in your filing cabinets linking to the crime. If you are rejected, go somewhere else where you think you may have a better chance, or else take it to the top.
